The Future Arts Foundation, a federally recognized nonprofit organization whose mission is to host concerts with a purpose, is excited to announce that the inaugural Winter Folk: Music & Photography Showcase will premiere February 7^th - March 1^st, 2020 (Friday-Sunday for four consecutive weekends) in Longmont, Colorado! The event will feature 40 bands such as Brett Dennen, Adam & Ben of Yonder Mountain String Band, Josiah Johnson formerly of the Head & The Heart, Daniel Rodriguez of Elephant Revival and more!  The event will also feature multiple photographers in a showcase over 12 days! The event will take place at the St. Vrain event venue (635 3rd Avenue, Longmont, Colorado 80501). Proceeds from the event provide Colorado schools with instruments and allow the Future Arts Foundation to host free youth arts workshops to the children of Colorado teachers, first responders, and military members. Passes are on sale starting September 10, 2019 at 8 AM (MST).

Winter Walkabout Music Showcase: The Winter Walkabout Music Showcase (WWMS) will take place in downtown Longmont, Colorado on Saturday, February 1^st, 2020 from 2-10 p.m. The WWMS consists of a variety of music performances throughout multiple venues – all within walking distance of each other in downtown Longmont’s Certified Creative District. The inaugural event in February 2019 sold out of 500+ tickets, and consisted of 36 performances at 12 different traditional and non-traditional music venues. One all-inclusive ticket allows concert-goers access to every show, and performance times are staggered to facilitate attending as many as possible throughout the day.  Venues are curated by music genre, with a wide variety of musical styles represented – jazz, americana, blues, bluegrass, country, rock, singer-songwriter, cover bands, alternative, acoustic, etc. The WWMS artists represent some of the best and brightest talent around the Longmont area, Boulder County, and the Front Range.
