Day 1:
Back to Top of ListStart the day with a morning stroll around McIntosh Lake. This spot is considered one of the best open spaces in Longmont for getting outside. It's also great for catching a sunrise. The loop is a 3.5-mile walk with stunning views of the Rocky Mountains.
After some fresh air, head to Downtown Longmont to grab snacks at Cheese Importers. This French-inspired foodie destination is a must-do on your trip to Longmont.


Create a masterpiece at Crackpots. Crackpots offers pottery painting, glass fusing, and mosaics for walk-in customers of all ages and a variety of other mediums (including clay and silver clay) in classes. Crackpots is open seven days a week and has a spacious, upscale, and clean studio designed to allow anyone to be an artist for the day.
Stop for lunch at Teocalli's. Teocalli's is one of the newer eating spots downtown and most of its menu is gluten-free. It's a great place to grab some specialty tacos, chips, queso and house-made margaritas.
After lunch, spend the day hopping on and off the Brewhop Trolley. Visiting many Longmont watering holes and using the trolley is a great experience to sample all the craft beverages our town offers while being chauffeured around town! Stop off at Wibby Brewing, a lager-exclusive brewery, and Dry Land Distillers, a fantastic micro-distillery.

End your day at West Side Tavern, located in a historic building in Old Town Longmont. With seasonal menus, an impressive array of crafted cocktails, uncommon beers, whiskeys, and fine wines, West Side Tavern serves up world-class culinary delights.

After your morning adventure, head into Downtown Longmont for a stop at Longs Peak Pub, an excellent stop for lunch in Longmont. A neighborhood pub that offers handcrafted meals paired with local beers, margaritas and more. Note that this restaurant and pub are cash only.


Head over to the Longmont Museum for an afternoon of art and culture. Considered a popular attraction in Longmont, check out their Longmont history exhibit and seasonal exhibits that feature a wide range of topics, art and more.
After spending the day immersed in culture, head to Pella Crossing, a popular outdoor place for an evening stroll with stunning views. Enjoy the peaceful waters of Pella Crossing, where you can escape the urban pace.
Rounding out your visit to Longmont, don't miss dinner at Martini's Bistro. It is a fine dining establishment in a historic Longmont home and features an outdoor patio on warm evenings.
