Plan your Fall in Longmont visit around the best and most festive indulgences of the season-- all coming together as two Oktoberfest celebrations take over. Join the Humane Society’s Oktoberfest celebration on September 20 in Thompson Par to sample some local brews and cocktails. Join the celebration again on September 27, during Left Hand’s Oktoberfest Weekend—filled with live music, local food, and family-friendly activities.

Also, don’t miss one of Longmont’s most mouth-watering celebrations, Feria del Tamal (The Tamale Festival) at the historic Boulder County Fairgrounds. The festival offers a chance to sample an array of tamales and vote for your favorite in the fan-favorite Tamal Contest. Enjoy live performances, vibrant music, and even Mexican-style wrestling shows, all from 4:00–8:00 PM.

Longmont Restaurant Week takes over the city on October 3, with ten days of dining deals and food-focused fun with good bites for all taste buds. Festivities kick off Thursday, October 2, with the Bar Boss Battle at Bricks on Main, followed by a chef demo at the Longmont Farmers Market on Saturday, October 4. The celebration wraps on Monday, October 13, and in between, dozens of local restaurants will open their doors to serve up their best with exclusive specials.
