Facial coverings must be worn in public anywhere in Boulder County where social distancing of 6 feet cannot be maintained. A facial covering mandate can work in concert with reduced social distancing restrictions during the Safer-At-Home to minimize the spread of COVID-19 by reducing exposure to the virus to protect vulnerable populations and to prevent the health care system from being overwhelmed.

2. Strongmont Swag:

Local merchandise agency BBP created the Strongmont logo, and the local support has continued to grow. To further benefit our local business economy, BBP has launched an online store for Strongmont merchandise, and will donate $5 from every Strongmont hat and t-shirt purchased to the Strongmont Fund.

3. Strongmont Fund:

In response to the unprecedented crisis, the Advance Longmont Economic Partners have formed the Strongmont Fund.  Comprised of funds from the City, the Longmont Downtown Development Authority, the Longmont Economic Development Partnership, and donations from the broader community, the Strongmont Fund will provide grant funding to local small businesses as they navigate the re-opening process and adapt to the ‘new normal’.  The Longmont Community Foundation is managing the fund and overseeing the grant application process.  Details on the grant application for businesses will be released shortly.  Any donation of $100 or more will be eligible for an additional 25% state income tax credit, as the Strongmont Fund is an Enterprise Zone Contribution Project.​

4.  Strongmont Grant:

Strongmont Grant applications for businesses will open on May 18, and any business that meets the criteria is welcome to apply. Interested businesses must complete the Citywide Needs Assessment to help guide the BRT in providing future support and advocacy for the Longmont small business community. 

5. Strongmont Creates Grant:

Longmont Creative District #Strongmont Creates Grant Program on May 15. The #Strongmont Creates grant program seeks to provide immediate assitance to the creatives in our community while introducing the unexpected, engaging, and inspiring creative imagination of our community into the everyday landscape of the Longmont Creative District.
