The Boulder County Fair is the annual fair hosted at the Boulder County Fairgrounds in Longmont every summer. The Fair runs this year from August 2 - 11, 2019. The Fair was the first in the state and celebrates its 150th Anniversary in 2019. Today, the Fair features a wide range of activities like a carnival, concerts, vendors, crafts, livestock shows, 4-H competitions, rodeos and much more. Entrance is free for visitors with no charge for parking. Some special events do charge admission such as rodeos, motorized sporting demos and signature grandstand events. Longmont is home to two farmers markets and a winter market that allows visitors access to at least one market during almost any visit! The Longmont Farmers Market operates on Saturdays from April - November in 2019, making it the longest farmers market season in the state. The Downtown Longmont Farmers Market is on Wednesday evenings from June - September, 2019. The Winter Market is on December 7 & 8, 2019. A perfect way to sample local produce, specialty meats, eggs, baked goods, preserves, cheese, hot sauces, wine, prepared food, coffee, kombucha, jewelry, skincare, woodwork, home goods, and so much more!
