The Art of Cheese is Longmont, Colorado’s own artisan home-cheesemaking school. Led by Kate Johnson, an award-winning cheesemaker and dairy goat farmer, The Art of Cheese is the best place in Northern Colorado for anyone who wants to learn the ins-and-outs of curds and whey. Classes cover everything from soft cheeses like Chevre to mold-ripened cheeses like Brie, and even several varieties of hard cheeses like Colby, Cheddar and Jarlsberg. Choose from a variety of classes, scheduled at different times each month, or participate in the Cheesemaking Boot Camp and take ten classes over a three-day period to become a Certified Artisan Cheesemaker.
