Coming to Longmont this year, Strings & Stories is a concert series that will feature national and local musicians in a very intimate and stripped down atmosphere at the Firehouse Art Center off of 4th and Coffman in Downtown Longmont.
The musicians will play songs from their repertoire, tell the stories of how the songs came to light, and answer audience questions. Proceeds from each concert will provide an instrument to a local school in need. The future lineup details include a concert on the 2nd Saturday of every month starting with the June 8th performance. There will be special additional dates added as well. To keep up to date with performance details, click here.
The Future Arts Foundation (FAF) is partnering with the Firehouse Art Center for this 2019 concert series. The FAF is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to help ensure the future of the arts in communities is a bright one. They support their mission by supplying instruments to local public schools, hosting a youth arts camp featuring free and reduced fee lessons, providing employment opportunities for local musicians and artists, and providing communities with quality music and arts events!
