2018 Longmont Studio Tour Takes Visitors Behind the Scenes

Local artists will open their studios to the public for free, self-guided tours for the annual Longmont Studio Tour on September 29 and 30 from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. The Longmont Studio Tour was founded in 2000 enabling members of the public to interact with award-winning and nationally recognized artists, as well as, emerging artists who have been juried into the tour. 53 artists are included, and many will be doing informal demonstrations of their art.

Many different styles of media will be represented including pottery, sculpture, glass, jewelry, mosaic, photography, painting, drawing and mixed media. Visitors participating in the tour will have the chance to embark on a free, self-guided tour to discover the rich, visual arts community that exists in the Longmont area.  It is a chance to speak directly with artists in their own creative environment, and original art will be available for purchase.

The Studio Tour 2018 preview exhibition has a NEW LOCATION at 372 Main Street that will extend from September 7-30 (Wed-Sat) from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.
