Longmont Environmental Group Hosts Annual Earth Day Festival
Sustainable Resilient Longmont will host the 4th Annual Longmont Earth Day Celebration at the Longmont Museum & Cultural Center, 400 Quail Rd., on Saturday, April 21 from 10 a.m.—3 p.m.
The Longmont Earth Day Celebration is a free event featuring hands-on activities, performances and education that will highlight sustainability and environmental issues. This year’s celebration will be a family-friendly event open to kids and adults of all ages. The event will host environmental education booths, speakers and performers, as well as arts and crafts, and opportunities to find out more about sustainability initiatives in Longmont.
This event is being organized by Sustainable Resilient Longmont. Sustainable Resilient Longmont collaborates with the Longmont community to cultivate a sustainable and thriving city. As the hub for education, advocacy and action, we support the three pillars of sustainability: environmental protection, responsible economic growth and social equity.
