From spring thru fall, the 20-acre Planet Bluegrass Ranch in Lyons, CO is available for wedding rentals. Located just 15-minutes northwest of Longmont (midway between Longmont and Estes Park), the historic ranch property includes the entire riverfront of the North St. Vrain, east of the Lyons bridges on Highway 36. The grounds feature dozens of mature Cottonwoods, many varieties of apple trees, a sandy riverfront beach, and numerous secluded areas along the St. Vrain River and its beautiful backdrop of hundred foot redstone cliffs. The wildflower and perennial gardens add continuously changing colors to the landscape. Our 4,800 square foot Wildflower Pavilion features state-of-the art wood and steel construction that blends with the natural setting of the Planet Bluegrass Ranch. The contemporary polished concrete provide a natural, comfortable footing and again blurs the line between nature and an indoor setting. The Pavilion features a state-of-the-art sound system featuring Meyer Sound CQ-1 speakers - the same speakers used by Carnegie Hall, Dave Matthews Band, and Luciano Pavarotti. An outdoor bar provides an area for cocktails, conversation, and chance to take in the view of Longs Peak on a clear day. A newly renovated private cabin is a favorite of brides while grooms have their own rooms in one of our historic buildings. Our deep green lawns and artisan-crafted flagstone patios provide plenty of space for guests to enjoy appetizers, take photographs, or mingle in small groups. Finally, cap your evening with a cozy bonfire next to the St. Vrain River.
