overview

View Map

The Firehouse Art Center is a historic landmark in downtown Longmont. Renovated in 1999, the Firehouse Art Center is a permanent art gallery and facility for art education and classes. The main gallery can hold up to 125 people standing, 80 people seated auditorium style and 60 people seated at tables. The South Gallery features a kitchen with two sinks, microwave and small fridge. It can hold 40 people standing and 16 seated at tables. There are two bathrooms, one in the main gallery and one in the Art Dept. We have just recently completed an update to the Firehouse Main Gallery and South Gallery. The main gallery now has a new, much smaller desk area and more open floor plan. In the South Gallery we removed the old kitchenette and replaced it with a more compact and user friendly kitchenette. The brick wall has been exposed and refinished creating a much nicer space. Please note that we also increased our rates because of the updates.
