Are you ready to see some of the world's best ice climbers in action and stay close to all the excitement?! Longmont is hosting a UIAA Ice Climbing World Cup event as part of the 2026 WinterFest! From February 21st to 22nd, you can watch more than 100 athletes from over 25 member associations compete at the Longmont Climbing Collective. It's a great chance to catch the UIAA Ice Climbing World Cup speed and lead titles. But the party doesn't stop there! Winterfest will be a fun winter event, with local food trucks, a beer garden, a vendor village, and a kids' area. Come for the competition and stay for all the other cool things to do!

100+ athletes from over 25 member associations are set to contest the coveted UIAA Ice Climbing World Cup lead and speed titles. Six venues on three different continents will offer unique ice towers, exciting routes and supreme technical challenges.

Longmont’s own, Climbing Collective, has combined the fifth stop of the World Cup tour with Colorado's premier winter festival featuring local food, beer, vendor village & kid’s zone.
