Jerry and Kim Klintz have been home winemakers since 2003 and bring a passion and joy to both winemaking and teaching others about this great hobby. They’ve learned through a combination of self-teaching, by fostering relationships and doing hands-on work with local commercial wineries and, by wine education, seminars, and classes provided by American Wine Society, Winemaker Magazine’s Winemaker Conferences, and UC Davis winemaking classes. For over 15 years, they’ve been making highly-drinkable, delicious, award-winning wines in the basement of their Longmont house.
