Terry Maker: Because the World is Round

overview

View Map

Colorado artist Terry Maker mines commonplace materials, cutting and re-combining them into dense and tactile wall reliefs and large-scale freestanding sculptures for her exhibit at the Longmont Museum, “Because the World is Round.” For this show, she is focusing on a recurring theme in her work—the circle.

Precautions to keep you safe
The Museum is opening with a host of new procedures in place to help ensure your safety, including enhanced cleaning, limitations on the number of people allowed in the building at a time, signage for physical distancing, and reduced hours. Our temporary reopening hours will be from 9 am – 3 pm Tuesday through Saturday; the Museum will be closed Sunday and Monday.

Please note, visitors age 3 and older are required to wear masks at the Museum. Disposable masks will be available free of charge for people who arrive without one.
