Join us in the taproom for an introduction to Tai Chi that will give you a good overview of what Tai Chi is all about. Tai Chi is one of the best long term ways to keep yourself fit. If you want to stay flexible, maintain poise and balance, breathe deeply, and keep reasonable muscle tone without lifting weights or spending hours on a treadmill, then Tai Chi just might be the thing for you. A simple, 20 minute per day workout can do wonders. Come join us for a fun, informative session that will loosen up your joints in just one hour. Wear loose clothing that will let you move freely. Soft shoes that can flex with low heels are preferred. The cost is $11 per person and includes your first beer, beermosas, or kombucha.

Steve Elliott has been studying Tai Chi for 38 years and teaching for 15. He studied with Bataan and Jane Faigao, and Bing Lee, and currently studies under Grandmaster Sam Tam, and Master Jesse Tsao. Through Blue Heron Tai Chi, he teaches at the Longmont Senior Center, Hover Manor, and has a studio at Dance Dimensions at the corner of Main St and Longs Peak where he teaches the Yang Long Form Tai Chi, Qi Gong, Sword, Cane, Ruler, and Push Hands.
