Experience how to use walking as a platform to deepen engagement with your clients, communities and coworkers. The Walk2Connect Cooperative empowers individuals, community groups and businesses to bring Life@3MPH into everything they do, building a more human and connected world through walking. Come learn how Walk2Connect can help your organization put its mission into action!
At the Walk2Connect Life@3MPH Summit, we will connect industry professionals and community leaders through mobile “WALKshops,” demonstrating tools for leadership and business strategy leading to authentic grassroots community building.
Who should attend: Professionals (public health, transportation, city planning, engineers, architects, land conservancies and trusts, community organizations, entrepreneurs, etc.), and invested community advocates.
What to expect: Unlike most conferences, the Walk2Connect Life@3MPH Summit features mobile breakout sessions called “WALKshops.” Each session will get participants moving and learning together in small groups, actively engaging in conversations about pedestrian safety, the built environment, community engagement and other related themes. This format allows participants to use all of their senses to connect with the subject matter, each other, and the places around them.
