Designed to engage, inform, and equip people with practical ways to help make a difference on climate change, Climate Action Sundays feature information tables, kids activities, and a panel discussion featuring experts who will provide the latest information on air quality, waste management, energy, and water. Our trash can have a negative impact on the community from the contamination of soil and water to the production of greenhouse gas emissions. Spend your Sunday afternoon at a family-friendly waste management event featuring information tables, kids’ activities and a panel discussion to learn about practical steps that can be taken to reduce waste in the community. 2-5 pm: Information Fair & Kids’ Activities 3 pm: Panel Discussion with Randy Moorman of Eco-Cycle and Tim Broderick of Boulder County’s Zero Waste Action Plan.
