A Bevy of Craft Beverages Itinerary

A Bevy of Craft Beverages (Two-Day) Itinerary

DAY ONE

Start your day with a bit of Southern hospitality and a hearty, stick-to-your-ribs, authentic Cajun meal at Lucile’s Creole Café. Begin your meal with the New Orleans-style beignets and a signature bloody Mary. For a non-alcoholic start to your day, indulge in the café au lait or a fresh-squeezed orange juice. Make sure to save room for a traditional Creole breakfast or lunch.

Once you’ve had your fill, wander around the Downtown Longmont Creative District. Mixing historic charm and character with modern style and convenience, downtown Longmont is filled with interactive retail stores, eclectic dining and unique art venues.

While you’re exploring downtown Longmont, don’t forget to check out four of our breweries, our cidery and one of our distilleries. 300 Suns Brewing and Wibby Brewing are both local, craft brewers located in the heart of the city. Also, stop by St. Vrain Cidery and Longtucky Spirits, these neighboring tasting rooms are located in the historic Times-Call building.

The Pumphouse Restaurant & Brewery

Wanna grab lunch downtown? Head to The Pumphouse Restaurant & Brewery or Longs Peak Pub & Taphouse – both of these downtown craft brewers offer full-service dining and fantastic food. If you need to catch a game, The Pumphouse’s Red Zone is the place to be. With 33 HDTVs, billiards, foosball, air hockey and pinball, you could easily spend the day here. Longs Peak Pub offers some of the best burgers in town, daily specials and an impressive rotating, guest beer menu.

Take a relaxing bicycle ride around historic downtown Longmont and its adjacent westside and eastside neighborhoods with Zagster, our bike share program. With three convenient downtown bike stations (ten stations citywide), it’s easy to get your wheels rolling. Enjoy the inspiring architecture and small-town feel of Old Town Longmont while taking your afternoon ride.

For dinner head to the West Side Tavern. With its unique ambiance, exciting seasonal menus and impressive array of crafted cocktails, uncommon beers, whiskeys and fine wines, the West Side Tavern serves up world-class culinary delights.

Spend the night in one of Longmont’s newest properties, the Candlewood Suites. This all-suite property offers clean minimalism, a 24-hour workout facility and business services all within walking distance to a bike share station, Oskar Blues Home Made Liquids & Solids restaurant and Wyatt’s Wet Goods, the perfect place to grab some local, craft beverage souvenirs.
