February is the month of love and here are the ways to celebrate in Longmont, to name a few:
Love with Chocolate:
Very fitting for celebrating love, Robin’s Chocolates is a must stop in Longmont, especially in the month of February. Robin Autorino is an award winning chocolatier and has been named by Dessert Professional as one of the Top Ten Chocolatiers in North America. Using Valrhona chocolate, her creations are as beautiful as they are tasty. Our recommendation for a must-try is the Chocolate Caramel Fleur de Sel: a caramel layered with chocolate caramel and sea salt in a dark chocolate shell.
Love with Cheese x 2:
What says love more than being cheesy? The Art of Cheese is a cheese making school, located in Haystack Mountain Cheese’s creamery facility. On the calendar for February is Brie, Camembert, Mozzarella, Burrata, Ricotta, Manchego as well as a Valentine’s Day special on February 14th: A Cheesemaking 101 Class featuring Chevre along with Chocolate, Chevre Truffles and Champagne! A perfect evening from 6:30 p.m. – 8 p.m. This event is now Sold Out.
Paris is the City of Love but not everyone can hop on a plane to celebrate in France. Longmont has the next best thing: Cheese Importers, a French-inspired bistro, shopping and cheese experience. From quiches, macaroons and wine to hundreds of cheese and gift varieties, Cheese Importers is a great way to spend time with a loved one.
