February is the month of love centered around Valentine’s Day, and Longmont, Colorado is the place to visit if you want to celebrate with food and drink. Love comes in many forms and here in Longmont, you can show that love with chocolate, cheese and craft libations!

Love with Chocolate
Robin Autorino of Robin’s Chocolates is an award winning chocolatier and has been named by Dessert Professional as one of the “Top Ten Chocolatiers in North America.” Using only Valrhona chocolate, her creations are as beautiful as they are tasty. Our recommendation for a must-try is the Chocolate Caramel Fleur de Sel, a caramel layered with chocolate caramel and sea salt in a dark chocolate shell.

Love with Cheese
Paris is the City of Love but not everyone can hop on a plane to celebrate in France. However, Longmont has the next best thing. Cheese Importers is a French-inspired bistro, shopping and cheese experience. Sit and enjoy a meal at their bistro and select from quiches, baguettes, soups, salads, macaroons, wine and more. You can also browse hundreds of cheese, charcuterie and gift varieties in their artisan market and walk-in cheese refrigerator.

Love with Craft Beverages
Longmont is a craft beverage haven. Sip and savor your way through 12 breweries, 4 distilleries and a cidery. Connecting these locations is a Brewhop Trolley that allows you to hop on and hop off at various beverage locations. This year on Valentine’s Day, St. Vrain Cidery is partnering with Samples Longmont to provide an evening of food and drink pairings with your special someone. Tickets will include a 3 course meal and two flights of cider.
