Get a glimpse into the history of agriculture in Boulder County and enjoy the rural surroundings. This site focuses on the years 1900 to 1925 when local families prospered as farmers and witnessed the coming of the Modern Age. Site Highlights -Blacksmith shop in use during special events -Farm animals on site April through October including chickens, pigs, horses, and goats. -1909 farmhouse with furnishings from the early 1900s. -Interactive exhibits in the big red barn for all ages to enjoy, including a real tractor cab and new bilingual exhibits. -Two barns, milk house, heirloom vegetable garden, and many historical planting and harvesting implements. Admission is FREE. Groups can request a tour year-round.
