3rd Annual Longmont Laugh Fest Coming This April

The 3rd Annual Longmont Laugh Fest will be held April 26-28, 2018. This year’s event boasts 40 comics, five shows and four venues all over three days. Each day’s events will be held at a local craft brewery or distillery combining craft brews with lots of laughs.

The Longmont Laugh Fest is produced by Longmont’s Bub Comedy. This roaming crew of minstrels performs stand-up, improv, sketch comedy, musical comedy and scripted works, and they organize open mics and comedy nights and host fundraisers year round.

Members of Bub Comedy perform at last year’s Longmont Laugh Fest.

This year’s Longmont Laugh Fest will feature 40 comedians, including nationally touring headliner John “Hippieman” Novosad. Other headlining comedians include: Rachel Weeks, Shanae Ross, Rojo Perez and the Front deRanged Improv Comedy Troupe.

For the first year, the final day of the Laugh Fest will be combined with a craft beer, cider and spirits festival. “This year, we are expanding into 300 Suns (Brewing) parking lot, renting a tent and making a pop-up comedy club so we can accommodate a larger crowd,” says JoAnn McIver of Bub Comedy. “Every year Bub Comedy works to make this event bigger and better,” adds Jean Ditslear, co-owner of 300 Suns Brewing.

Guests will enjoy live comedy and craft beverages throughout the Longmont Laugh Fest.

The third day of the festival will include craft beverage tasting and a finale comedy showcase. This event is ticketed while the other two days of the festival are FREE to attend. The Beer, Cider, Spirits & Comedy Festival tickets are priced from $25-$65 and can be purchased here.
