    Sunflower Farm is a 50 acre working farm, with century-old trees; barns, a silo, outbuildings and plenty of animals and horses.     This is a real working farm in operation since 1949. Throughout the year several major festivals and numerous events are held for both children and adults. The farm is available for birthday parties, family reunions, wedding receptions, or other events. Farm tours are designed to help students of all ages discover how a family farm runs on a daily basis. These tours include hay rides, a petting zoo, trains, planes, automobiles and lots of other fun along with educational activities for everyone.

    One of the largest wildlife rehabilitation centers along the Front Range. Over 3000 birds and mammals each year are cared for. Greenwood Wildlife rehabilitates sick, injured and orphaned wildlife. Open 9am-4pm every day.

  • The Wild Animal Sanctuary

    Located just outside of Longmont in Northern Colorado the Wild Animal Sanctuary is a state and federally licensed zoological facility, non-profit organization. Here you can visit with the home to more than 200 Lions, Tigers, Bears, Jaguars, Leopards, Mountain Lions, Lynx, Bobcats, Wolves and other wildlife. The Wild Animal Sanctuary has one of the most contemporary facilities in the nation, currently 240 acres of rolling grassland, habitats offer unprecedented freedom and natural living spaces for the animals that are rescued. As the communities along the front range get more urbanized, the chance for children to experience the rich farming history of this region becomes more difficult. Ollin Farms is dedicated to preserving those traditions and this year we will be offering 3 summer camp sessions to give kids the opportunity to experience farm life first hand. This is a great opportunity to have a fun time learning about where our food comes from and to find out what it's like to be part of a thriving family farm.
