  • The Callahan House
    • A historically designated Victorian home given to the City of Longmont in 1938 by Thomas and Alice Callahan

  • Union Reservoir
    • 736 acre body of water providing many outdoor recreational activities

    • Visitors to Union Reservoir can enjoy fishing, swimming, wakeless boating, camping, windsurfing and picnicking
    • The Reservoir is located approximately 7 miles west of I-25
  • Golden Ponds
    • Magnificent view of the Longs Peak and the Front Range,
    • Park features 94 acres with 56 acres of water surface in 4 ponds
    • Park is a trailhead to the western end St.Vrain Greenway, and has 2.6 miles of park trails, a handicap-accessible fishing pier, 2 restrooms and 9 picnic shelters
    • Wildlife of all kinds, especially waterfowl like great blue herons and cormorants, are easily viewed in the park
  • Rogers Grove
    • Roger's Grove covers 14 acres adjacent to the St. Vrain Greenway
    • Picnic shelter and an outdoor amphitheater are found near the center of the park
    • Park features a prairie with native and hardy introduced plants suitable for this region with an apple grove with fruit free for your harvest
    • Home of the City's major annual "signature" event, "Rhythm on the River"
  • Sandstone Ranch Park
    • Sandstone Ranch Park is situated on 313 acres of land abundant in natural, cultural, and historic resources encompassing a 125 acre community park
    • Includes 4-plex ball field complex, playground, concession/ picnic area, trailhead parking lot with restroom, soft-surfaced trails, overlook with bench, in-ground skate park, a custom children's adventure playground, group picnic shelter with adjacent playground and volleyball, parking and park amenities
    • Centered around historic homestead, now a Visitors Center
    • Walking trails with interpretive signs, an overlook atop the sandstone bluffs and restored historic buildings are found along the southern portion of the property straddling the St. Vrain Rive

  • Jump from 17,500 feet for the Longest Freefall! Mile-HI Skydiving Center in Longmont is Colorado’s top ranked and largest skydiving facility with more than 35,000 jumps made annually. Mile-HI Skydiving is the only full-time skydiving operation within 100 miles of the Boulder-Denver area (12 miles from Boulder and 35 miles from Denver). Mile-HI also has the largest fleet of twin engine jet-prop aircraft capable of producing hundreds of jumps per day!
